Students at St Christopher's School, in Downs Road, Epsom, put their memories to the test when they participated in a poetry recital competition.
Pupils at the nursery and pre-prep school were tasked with learning a poem or rhyme by heart.
First prize in the upper school went to Anna Gillespie, in Year 2, for her choreographed recital of The Schoolkids’ Rap by John Foster, and her sister Daisy Gillespie, in nursery, won the lower school prize for her recital of Super Worm by Julia Donaldson.
