Dave Benson Phillips, star of this year's Epsom Playhouse pantomime The Wizard of Oz popped into Hatty's Sweet Shop in The Ashley Centre this weekend to sample some of the wonderful confectionery they sell.
Hatty's owner Harriette Coleman was delighted to meet Dave and showed him round the shop before inviting him behind the counter to try his hand at serving customers.
Dave will play the part of the Scarecrow in this year's professional family pantomime at the Epsom Playhouse and will be joined by Samantha Giffard as Dorothy, Phil Amato as The Tin Man, Jamie Bannerman as the Lion, Hannah Woolley as the Good Witch, Emily Barnett-Salter as the Bad Witch and Iain Wotherspoon as the Wizard.
