Here comes the snow..
Surrey County Council and BBC Surrey are working together to alert motorists of gritting activity, traffic info, weather conditions and road closures through Twitter.
The county has introduced new measures following last years heavy snows which brought many roads to a standstill in the area. Let's hope their 24 new gritting vehicles – bringing the county fleet to more than 40 will help.
