When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis

The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.

This week 21st February:

Our warehouse staff continue to work hard to ensure that we have the right stock and things are given out in the correct date order. A bonus effect of this is knowing which items we have in abundance and don't need. This list has just been updated so please note we DO NOT NEED the following items - baked beans, pulses , soup of any variety, rice, pasta, bars of soap, UHT milk red top, panty liners, shampoo, washing up liquid, cereal, porridge, tinned fruit, sweetcorn,  childrens toothpaste and childrens toothbrushes.

We do however NEED the following -

Tinned meat

Tinned meat pies

Pump hand soap

Longlife juice - urgent

Nappies - size 4 & 5 only

Adult toothbrushes

Adult toothpaste

Sugar - 500g

Longlife milk - blue full fat

Powdered milk

Ladies deodorant

Shaving foam

Noodles

Hair conditioner

Many thanks for your continued support
