When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis

The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.

This week 6th December the following items are needed: 

As you can imagine things are getting very busy at the Foodbank. We are receiving many donations of Christmas goodies and the response to our Christmas appeals has been good. The generosity of the local people will help us give support to those in our community who need it most.

 

Our wish list is as follows –

 

 

Sugar - preferably 500g bags

 

Dried milk

 

Shampoo/conditioner

 

Cooking sauces

 

Instant coffee

 

Long life sponge puddings

 

Shaving foam

 

Nappies - size 6 and size 6 + only

 

Tinned veg including sweetcorn

 

Other items form part of our Christmas Appeal as follows -

 

New pillows

 

New towels

 

New flannels

 

New socks

 

New gloves

 

New thermos travel mugs

 

New sets of matching mugs

 

Monetary donation towards our Fresh Christmas dinner appeal

 

Monetary donation towards our winter energy appeal.
