When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis

The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.

This week 19th July the following items are needed:

We have seen a drastic rise in the number of people we are feeding over the last couple of weeks so your continued support is more important than ever before. We anticipate that we will feed even more people during the school summer holiday as families struggle to feed children who would normally get a free school meal.

Our wish list is for items that we URGENTLY REQUIRE:

Sugar small bags - whilst controversial, is an item that our clients  frequently request. For many people a sweetened hot drink often replaces a meal. The food we give people is aimed at putting calories into people who have had a very, very low calories diet. It is a short term diet.

Tinned potatoes

Pasta sauce

Peanut butter

Dried milk

Custard

UHT milk - Semi skimmed and full fat

Ketchup

Toilet rolls

Shampoo

Ladies deoderant/Men's deoderant

Shower gel

Clothes washing powder/liquid

Hand pump soap

Summer holiday treats - chocolate, sweets, crisps etc

Many thanks for your continued support
