When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis

The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.

This week 6th October the following items are needed: 

Washing up liquid

Tinned potatoes

Tinned Veg - not sweetcorn

Chocolate treats for adults and children

Treats and sweets for adults and children


Long-life juice

Adult toothbrushes

Adult toothpaste

Sugar - 500g bags if possible

Tinned rice pudding

Men's deodorant


Tinned fruit

Instant mash - ideal if you only have access to a kettle

Long life sponge puddings

There is currently enough stock of:

Baked beans, dried pasta, soup, fish, dried rice, pulses, baby wipes, chocolate spread, nappies, meat pies and washing powder.
