During WW1 there were many deaths of local people in the war, and the Banstead community wish to honour them.
All Saints Church in Banstead will provide W A Truelove Ltd - Funeral Directors in Banstead High Street, with a list of the 100th anniversary of the death of the fallen.
These names will be shown in a framed display in the window of the shop.
The Church will also fly the union flag at half-mast and ring the church bell once – in their memory.
If you are passing W A Truelove’s window – take a moment to look at the names – they may be from your family – they will all be local names.
