This is the third time we have visited the Epsom Playhouse; each time the show has
been excellent.
We saw Sarah Kennedy's excellent show, then The Matt Monro Story (with Matt Monro Jnr) - this time it was Joanna Lumley's It's All About Me tour which was fantastic. I haven't laughed so much for ages. Miss Lumley is an incredible person: very sincere and deeply spiritual. Her presence on stage is awesome and spell binding. Five Stars! It was lovely to meet her afterwards at the stage door.
I can't wait to visit this venue again.

Intimate venue near Epsom High Street.
We saw a George Michael tribute act in the auditorium.
Acoustics good, stage in the centre and not off to the left as it appears on their seating plan.
Friendly staff, very small bar area which gets very packed before the performance and at the interval.
Seats very close together and not a lot of personal space, especially when everyone stood up to dance. I appreciate that not all shows demand this and that you may well sit down for the whole show however, there was no elbow room and we sat with tucked elbows and legs along with most others for the performance .
It didn’t put us off but we found it cosy!
We would go again as they have some great shows.

Epsom playhouse has a big variety of entertainment and hosts local drama and dance groups. The tickets are at affordable prices in the main. I have never been disappointed on a visit there.

A friend had brought us tickets for a show, which was a going through the history of the Carpenters. It was my first visit to The Epsom Playhouse, it is a small theatre but has a nice feel about it, it was clean inside the theatre, the seats were reasonably comfortable and it was air conditioned which considering the hot outside temperature was good. At the interval I was served reasonably quickly at the bar, there were tables and chairs, though they were all taken. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would return.

Lovely little local theatre. Not too big so wherever you sit will be fine. Onsite bar with snacks. Parking right next door in the Ashley centre

This was an unusual tribute act because Steve Williamson was performing Luther songs in his own way. The live band and backing singers were exceptional. Steve had a very good voice, although not like The Luther, I think he did very well. He had the audience up singing and dancing along. It was a thouroughly brilliant evening.

Great local entertainment. Never seen a bad show here, the last show was The Full Monty and was brilliant. We also saw the Christmas panto and it was as good as any West End show

Well designed modern theatre with good facilities and lots of nearby bars and restaurants. The auditorium is open and airy and everyone gets space and a good view.

Going to a theater is not just about watching a performance, it is also about the experience at the theater and the theater staff.
The theater staff get 10 out of 10 marks in all departments.
Polite, professional, well dressed and always available to ensure your theater experience is a happy one. The technical team behind the scenes are exceptional as special thank you to them as without them there is now show.
Well done guys.

Went to the Saturday matinee for this excellent show. I can see why Epsom Light Operatic Company win so many awards, for a amateur organisation the acting and singing is first rate. It’s just a pity the seating in the theatre is so uncomfortable, it’s about time they reupholstered the seats. Everybody complains about it.

Really good performance, would have loved it to have been longer. Sound quality excellent. Parking great as next door in the Ashley Centre.
The only thing that lets it down is the café area is very small and can be cold, as are the coffees.

Great one woman play @ Epsom Playhouse. Friendly staff, bar area a little tired but generally a great local theatre with a full programme of interesting and varied performances. Also used to serve food but not sure if it still does?

Great venue, we saw the pantomime but it offers a full range of things to see. We have seen send up bands and actual artistes. We have also seen Santa.

Frequently go to the theatre. Plus point is that parking is so close. The foyer and bar areas are way too small to accomadate a well attended show.

This pantomime was amazing, my son loved it,
It was funny and we couldn’t stop laughing.
Buttons read out a message to my son, Saying Happy 8th Birthday to Hugo, What made my sons day.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely brilliant. Hand on heart I wasn’t expecting it to be so good as it had no one famous performing but full credit to all the cast. It was funny from start to finish and the 3D effect was excellent, the children were spellbound.

This theatre is a great asset for the town of Epsom; simple, honest, with great family atmosphere. We saw the Cinderella pantomime and were surprised at the quality and level of professionalism. Great to see lots of families and people of all ages having a great evening of entertainment. We will become regulars!

Booked on line. Parked easily in the Ashley center and walked to the playhouse to see Cinderella. My grandson had never been to a pantomime before. We had a great time, nearly 3 hours for an 8 year old to be still is a great feat to carry off! Great value compared to Wimbledon under hals the price! Loved the show, the 3D bit was good too. Comfortable seats Would highly recommend
