WE'RE BACK

The Epsom Playhouse team are getting performance ready, excited to welcome back Performers, community hires and audiences, fifteen months after temporary closure due to the ongoing Pandemic.

Your much loved theatre is planning to reopen on the 21st June, providing a selection of popular shows for the summer. The official relaunch is due to take place in September.
Along with most local and national theatres, The Epsom Playhouse is eagerly awaiting the Government’s update on Step 4 of the roadmap, hoping to reopen safely at full capacity with a selection of productions from 30th June to 31st July.
We are keen to reassure patrons, carefully adapting and preparing accordingly to allow for business as usual. Measures include increased ventilation, extra cleaning services pre and post show, regular building fogging and accessible hand sanitizer stations, introduced for the safety and well-being of patrons, performers and staff

The Epsom Playhouse was opened in 1984 and hosts a wide and varied programme of theatre events featuring professional and Epsom & Ewell community theatre productions.

Our main theatre Auditorium seats 406 and plays host to the leading theatre companies, including Dance, Drama, Opera, Comedy, Light Entertainment, Variety, Children's Shows, and other theatre.

A Summer Film Season is also run in the main theatre

Jazz events are held fortnightly in The Myers Studio which is also used for our popular children's theatre and Epsom community events.

For a full programme of theatre events, prices and hire details for Epsom residents please call the box office.
