Seems good so far. I set up on internet like I always have with other companies. And normally I dont have any bother or even hear from other companies.. these rang me couple days after checking everything. Price did go up but I'm still happy enough. Hopefully that will be it now 👍

I've explained to the call handler;

a) failure to make clear that the email sending out docs is a 'no-reply' address (that was the reason given me for absence of any response to my 'reply' to the sending of docs)
b) absolutely no explanation of the confusing and suspicious plethora of company names (II was told that MotorQuoteDirect was online trading name...why not be one company or at least make clear the reason for difference???)
c) first call to main Bedford number cut off after quite a wait
d) I'd rung to check that my attempt to correct wrong info on policy docs had worked. The call handler gave a muddled explanation about the quotation info not being the same as his company needed and worst assumptions being made ..... I asked, therefore, why we were asked to correct info?

If there is a problem with insurance in the future maybe talking to the customer first before just issuing a cancellation notice in error might be an idea.

Dissapointed to recieve a call today asking for a further premium of £50. We inherited a van on the back of my fathers I'll health. We have 2 dogs and thought it great to be able to use this for our walks keeping our car clean. This van will NEVER be used for any commercial work, it will NEVER carry tools. Its purely for pleasure purposes. We both have vehicles for personal use. I feel that we have been unfairly treated with the assumption that our van will be used as a 'workie, carrying tools' I work in retail and hubby for the NHS. It's just a van for the dog walks. Dissapointed is an understatement.
