As a new patient I cannot praise Alan Wilson Dentistry highly enough. Everyone you come into contact with are friendly and very professional. Alan immediately puts you at ease and explains all aspects of your treatment. Alan has a very calming demeanour and pointed out potential issues but reassuringly offered solutions. I felt totally safe in his hands and believe he gave sound advice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Aged 77, I've worried about my teeth and my various NHS dentists for years. Having discarded an ill-fitting denture and ground down my front teeth I needed expert remediation. Careful research brought me to Alan Wilson. His skills in digital data capture, with 3D imaging, impressed me from the start, and throughout the reinstatement programme. His friendly manner, skill, confidence and obvious delight in his craft made me look forward to visiting his well equipped practice and his friendly staff. Today he fixed the new teeth onto the implants. I'm smiling and chewing properly now, and anxiety about my teeth is gone. Thank you Alan, and your staff, for doing a perfect job.

I am a very nervous patient and go to the dentist and hygienist very reluctantly. However, Debbie, my dentist, and her nurse are extremely friendly, understanding, explain everything properly, and couldn't look after me any better.<br><br>The hygienist Claire is gentle, and it was a pleasant and comfortable experience.<br><br>From reception through to treatment the whole process is professional and excellent. The clinic itself is smart and beautiful. I totally recommend them.

From the moment I stepped through the door I felt comfortable, welcomed and supported through my treatment.<br><br>After using NHS dentists for many years, I can't over emphasize the difference in care and treatment. It was simply excellent.<br><br>Sandra, who manages the desk had a warm and friendly disposition and made me feel like I have known her for years!. The Dental Therapist adores her work and is incredibly gifted, she also made the process painless!<br><br>Finally I met with Alan (his name is above the door) who didn't patronize me but also gave me excellent advice on how to proceed.<br><br>Oh, and did I mention the therapeutic TV's on the ceilings? Ten out of Ten!

Both me and my girlfriend starded going to this studio as soon as they opened it. We both believe that dental care is quite important, things that will go unoticed or untreated will cause much more damage in the long run, that for sure. We were impressed when we started going there, and kept going ever since. My girlfriend got her Invislign there, an implant, and both had quite a few other treatments done there, all done professionally, with care and all. I also took the annual care plan, which honestly I never did before... The team is amazing, they explain clearly things, they are nice and they make you feel welcome. It is a bit on the high price compared to the average around, but the standards are also much higher, so I am happy to support a business like that!

Recommended for Nervous Patients!<br>Alan Wilson Dentistry is a very calming place, all the staff are really enthusiastic about their work and clearly enjoyed guiding me through my dental issues.<br>The hygienist was very gentle as were the dental nurses.<br>Sandra was really helpful in working out my finances.<br>Although not cheap, after one treatment of four, I can already say it's worth every penny.<br>Alan himself was patiently reassuring and obviously very skilled at his job, see below. He has matched the repair perfectly with my natural teeth.<br>My NHS Dentist said nothing could be done about my worn-down teeth (through anxiety) but Alan Wilson Dentistry has given me back my smile!

After a long period of avoiding the dentist, I recently decided to visit Alan and the team for a checkup based on the (strong) recommendation of my wife, fearing some horrible outcome. My experience, however, was anything but.<br><br>Alan was very constructive and reassuring throughout the initial examination, recommending only what he felt would be of genuine benefit to me as a patient and taking time to explain what would be involved. I then had some restorative work performed and am sincerely delighted with the result. It is clear that Alan takes pride in his work and I was pleasantly surprised at the confidence boost from having healthier teeth.<br><br>I would also add that Alan is supported by a very friendly team who are well organised and always helpful.<br><br>Overall, I would highly recommend.

I was recommended Alan Wilson Dentistry by a friend and am delighted to have found a dentist to stay with. They are not only thoroughly professional (efficient and kind) but the work they do is exceptional. I never knew preparing and fitting a bridge could be so unfussy and stress free. They are clearly passionate about dentistry, and backed up with some amazing new equipment makes it somewhere I'm very happy to recommend myself.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received. David Hinckley produced my chrome dentures excellently and within a short time. There were no hidden costs and it was well worth the money. Members of staff were very friendly and helpful, the layout of the clinic is beautiful and the music very relaxing. I am so glad I found Alan Wilson and highly recommend them to others. After I smashed my face into the Welsh countryside after a cycling event (Grinduro Wales) my worst fear was visiting the dentist but everyone at Alan Wilson Dentistry was so friendly and they did a fantastic job fixing me up only a few days after my crash. When I registered with Alan Wilson Dentistry and had my first appointment with Alan, he asked me if I had every considered Invisalign. I will admit I was reluctant, as I thought it was a lot of hassle at my age (!) and it probably wouldn’t make much difference. He just said why don’t you just have a consultation and see what we could do, I think you will be pleasantly surprised? If you go ahead then the cost of the consultation comes off of the overall cost so it seemed sensible to look into it further. When I met Lee she was so friendly and positive of the difference she could make to my teeth. I had a scan and I saw a simulation of what my teeth would look like if I went ahead with the treatment, which is amazing to be able to see in advance as I was still a bit sceptical. Lee ran through the treatment plan and payment options and I knew I had to take the plunge! I have to admit it was all so straightforward and I soon got used to the routine and started to see a difference quite quickly. The staff team are all so nice and welcoming and the practice is so lovely its really not like visiting the dentist at all! The time has just flown by.<br><br>I am thrilled with the results. Lee even said it has made me look younger, which has to be a bonus! If you are thinking about it, I would definitely make the call to get an appointment with Lee!

Top quality service. Staff is friendly and helpful. My wisdom tooth had to be extracted and Deborah has done an excellent job.<br>They have kept me well informed and they have reached out the upcoming day of the extraction. I have just finished treatment with Lee the Specialist Orthodontist at Alan Wilson Dentistry. I had originally spoken to Alan about having composite bonding to help level and align my teeth but he advised that I would be better to have orthodontic treatment so referred me to Lee. I am so glad that I listened to Alan and opted to do teeth straightening treatment rather than have composite bonding as the results of this are better than I could of imagined!<br><br>I chose to have fixed ceramic braces as they fitted in with my lifestyle better than other options like Invisalign. I was so surprised at how discreet they were - a lot of my friends didn't even notice I had braces! I had my braces taken off last week and I haven't stopped smiling since - my teeth are AMAZING and I couldn't be happier with the results!

I don’t normally write reviews but in this case I believe it’s worth sharing my experience with others, so I’m making this exception for two reasons:<br>1. I have been to quite a few dental practices in my life, and I did a lot of digging around to try and find the best option for my recent dental problem, but this clinic is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best one I have seen (and I’m speaking for my child here too). I was treated with the utmost care, professionalism and attention to detail for a treatment that would normally be far from pleasant. I felt no pain at all, had a clear understanding of everything that was taking place which was very reassuring and in smartly designed, high-tech surroundings. I’m also continually impressed with the modernity of the clinic and their equipment. They simply exceeded my expectations.<br>2. The people working here simply love their job and along with their expertise, they make a great team. The professional yet fun environment reflects their commitment to quality dentistry, and as a patient, I found this extremely reassuring. I feel safe and in good hands. Thank you !

Alan and his team exemplify everything you could possibly ask for (and more) from a dental practice. I found myself in an unfortunate situation regarding an implant that was sited many years ago in the US. Alan and his team arranged to see me and although couldn't help my predicament at that time, they went above and beyond by consulting the manufacturer of said implant to help identify specialists in the area who work with this brand and could help. Alan even phoned me a couple times to keep me updated on the progress. Ironically, one of the specialists happened to be a bi-weekly visiting periodontist at Alan's practice so I didn't have to travel far! Everyone including reception and nursing staff were so courteous and professional and this even emanates through a phone call. I will be recommending my family and friends to this gem of a practice.
