Women and Fear of Public Speaking

Ripleys Believe It Or Not commissioned a survey of 2000 women to find what was their gratest fear. Fear of public speaking came third after fears of losing familly members and of being buried alive.

This fear has kept many women back from applying for jobs, and when they have them, from going for promotion. Of course, it is not the single fear of speaking - but the added stresses of being the focus of attention, of making mistakes, of not being good looking enough, fear of being judged, and fear of looking foolish.

Many people have come to Effective Hypnosis with this problem. They have cringed with the memory of past fearful experiences. But once they have commited themselve to a hypnotherapy program they have mastered their fear  and been able to progress. Please see www.effectivehypnosis.co.uk for details.
