Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre is an inner city community riding school for children and young people. For the last 22 years as they have been providing riders with physical disabilities and riders with special needs from the local area, including the borough of Ealing, the opportunity to learn to ride as part of Riding for the Disabled.

Sister Mary-Joy Langdon who runs the registered charity has 18 horses, 2 full-time staff and 2 part-time staff. They use 10 bales of hay per day which cost £7 each, hence the Christmas hay appeal.

Additional funding and another member of staff would help secure their future. Find out more here
