The Daily Mail runs an article today, 18.1.20, shaming the weight loss clubs. They give the examples of three women who have been trying these clubs for decades and have actually ended up putting on weight.
Whilst this should really have been compared to success stories to give readers something to measure it by, something caught the attention of Effective Hypnosis. One of the women, Christine Drane, had attended slimming clubs - on and off - for twenty years. Sure enough, she actually had gained weight in that time, possibly due to a lack of commitment. But when she committed herself to a hypnotherapy programme she found that she lost weight consistently, over a period of five years, ending up with a total weight loss of over ten stones. This is a fantastic story for hypnotherapy.
