Do you have a significant birthday or anniversary and want to challenge yourself and do something worthwhile?

We have just the thing for you. In association with The Victoria Foundation, we are able to provide spaces on the Hadrian's Wall Marathon Walk 13th-15th September 2013 for walkers to raise funds in aid of local charity The Log Cabin.

The walk is a long, challenging weekend which gives a great sense of achievement and is led by experienced Discover Adventure leaders. On this walk you can admire ancient monuments, beautiful scenery and the skill of the Roman engineers who built Hadrian's Wall, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and raise much needed funds.

Arriving on Friday evening, the walk takes place on Saturday (from Lanercost Priory to Haltwhistle 15 miles - split into 4 sections) and Sunday ( Haltwhistle to Brocolitia 15 miles).

Accommodation (2 nights) and all meals (from Friday dinner to cream tea before departure on Sunday including packed lunches) are provided.

Cost £275 plus minimum £500 fundraising target. For further details and to book your place please contact: Lorna Votier on 020 8332 1792 or at l.votier@thevictoriafoundation.org.uk or go to www.thevictoriafoundation.org.uk/events mentioning The Best of Ealing and The Log Cabin.

All the money you raise will go directly to The Log Cabin - a registered charity founded in 1977 to provide a community based, purpose-built adventure playground for children and young people with additional needs or disabilities. The centre in Northfields is used by over 350 children and young people aged 4-15 every year attending stay and play sessions, the term-time after school club and holiday playschemes.

The Victoria Foundation is a charity based in Richmond which is helping to improve many lives by providing a wide range of medical support and equipment to those in need.
