Calls for Pregnant woman not to drink at all

BBC News reported last week that there had been a call for pregnant women not to drink at all. Sir Al Aynsley-Green presented findings to the BMA saying that exposure to alcohol before birth was one of the ”most significant” causes of childhood brain damage,  learning disability. Poor behaviour and even criminality.

This is entirely preventable by not drinking during pregnancy, he says.
