We couldn’t help but notice here at The Best Of that hotels are blossoming in London at the moment. Ealing is no exception.
The Ramada Hotel on Hanger lane has recently undergone complete renovation. What’s more, plans have been submitted to build a new Travel Lodge in the heart of Ealing on Uxbridge road. It is proposed that the ninety nine bedroom, six storey budget hotel will be complete with underground car parking, a café and a bar. Further plans have been submitted by Tubbs Davis to convert a number of central Ealing office buildings on Bond Street into a fifty bedroom hotel.
It would appear that in London, and most certainly Ealing, preparations are well on their way to cater for the tourism boom that the London 2012 Olympics will bring.
