Driving around Ealing it's good to see all the signs of Spring - lovely crocuses near Montpelier school for example - some of them planted by the team of gardeners at Ealing Council but others planted by individuals and groups who just want to make our urban environment a little greener.
So it's great to hear of some community initiatives for "guerilla gardening" and plans to make a planted area along a pathway near West Dean allotments to encourage more wildlife.
It's great to get the whole family or just the dog out for a walk to enjoy the signs of Spring in all the open spaces we have so many of in the borough - parks, common or along the canal.
Go on put a spring in your step!
