Ealing 14 Days of Love Prize Winner

Everyone was a winner when Ealing resident Maria Consuelo Solano submitted a testimonial for local business baby e boutique in the 14 Days of Love campaign run by The Best of Ealing.

Maria submitted her review to www.thebestof.co.uk/ealing and was selected out of all national submissions that day. Her prize was two theatre or concert tickets of her choice and she decided to opt for the star-studded production of Hay Fever at the Noel Coward theatre http://www.hayfeverlondon.com.

Maria says “I was delighted to win something – I never seem to be lucky in prize draws so I was very excited. I’m glad I submitted a review for baby e. It’s very true that this shop always manages to have a lovely window display. It's such a pleasure to pass by and have a peek!”

Baby e owner Liz Pilgrim was touched by many of the testimonials her business received, especially those mentioning her resolve and example in the aftermath of the Ealing riots. Liz said “It is great to see people coming out to support local businesses and the British high street, thank you to all our customers who voted for us in the 14 Days of Love campaign”.

Thousands of local people from the UK put forward their nominations for their favourite local business as part of a national campaign run by local business champions: thebestof.co.uk The 14 Days of Love campaign aimed to raise awareness about the continuous plight faced by local businesses and prove that local communities can make a difference to a town’s economy and pride.
