Beating Addiction

In today's world, people seem to want instant solutions to their problems. Can feelings of boredom, loneliness, tiredness, anger, resentfulness and fear  easily be swept away by indulging in alcohol, drugs, gambling and sex? Perhaps.

We learn to do things repeatedly by receiving rewardsand they can become a habit. A habit is something you can take or leave. But habits that become addictions involve both psychological and physical elements that make it difficult to keep control. Most addictions though, are learned behaviour - that can be unlearned.

Hypnotherapy can help people relax very deeply - which may help with some of the unhealthy feelings above. It can take people to the source of their discomfort, and change perspective. The bad feelings can disolve in new feelingsof comfort and restfulness.

Effective Hypnosis has a fine track record in helping people to give up addictions - see our testimonials - and welcomes new challenges. We even teach Instant Deep Self Hypnosis for fast fix junkies.
