Are fewer shops closing in Ealing?

Heard a report on BBC Radio 4 this morning that the number of shops closing in Britain is slowing according to a study by retail analysts the Local Data Company.

The study found that big centres in London and the South East were "holding up well, while further north vacancy rates are much higher".

Do you think that's true for the borough of Ealing where even a longstanding "pound shop" is closing?
