We visited Nineteen at Farleigh on 26th October 2012 for afternoon tea. We were a party of 5 one of whom was in a wheelchair. The staff could not have been more accommodating - they were absolutely fine with the fact that we were delayed by over an hour (due to our taxi failing to turn up!) and they really couldn't have done enough for us, making sure that we had everything we needed and wanted. Our waitress was friendly, professional and most importantly made sure we were really well looked after and made to feel very welcome.

The food was really tasty and they have a great range of teas to choose from. The restaurant is beautifully designed with lovely views over the course. Overall we had a really enjoyable afternoon in a beautiful setting with really great staff and customer service - thank you and we hope to see you again soon!

I took my parents and my daughter to Bar Nineteen at Farleigh for afternoon tea. What a pleasurable experience! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive and the food was just delicious. Loved the Oolong Dong Ding tea! Would definitely recommend a visit - we'll be back for sure!

Bar XIX is located at Farleigh Golf Club which recently came under the ownership of the famous Foxhills Resort which is well known to reviewers of Trip Advisor - the elegantly designed restaurant is complemented by innovative and varied menus presented by Luke the Gary Rhodes trained head chef and which menus include a range of delicious desserts - there is a full range of accompanying at realistic prices. The restaurant offers menus throughout the day from breakfast to afternoon tea and dinner. The staff are welcoming and guests are made to feel very special. The restaurant windows offer panoramic views of the golf courses and in the distance part of skyline of the city including the Shard and the Gherkin.

Newly opened restaurant Nineteen at Farleigh has hit the ground running, a great menu, extensive wine list and first class service has made this our first choice venue for eating out and socialising. It really covers all bases when it comes to services offered, it is clear nothing is too much trouble, whether you come for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner you will not be disappointed, we've tried them all! The value for money is excellent, even better if you join as a social member which allows you a discount on your bill. The clearly talented Head Chef produces dishes that become talking points around the table, last night it was the crab pasta special and the slow cooked beef main that melted in the mouth. The only thing we haven't tried yet is the Sunday lunch, apparently it is buffet starter and dessert, and a carvery main.
Hmm... What are we doing next weekend?

This was my first visit to Farleigh, but it will definitely NOT be my last! There is a warm, relaxed atmosphere to Farleigh with its beautiful décor, comfy seating areas, chic bar, several function rooms, and a games room. The restaurant offers amazing views over The Downs, and a wide selection of dishes - our party tried a meat, fish and veggie dish – all very tasty and the risotto was the best I have ever had! One of my most important points – the staff – everyone we met was polite, friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work ‘Team Farleigh,’ as mentioned in other reviews; you have a real gem there!

My first visit to the new restaurant at Farleigh. A relaxed atmosphere, with a warm welcome from all the staff. Good priced tasty, fresh food with just the right amount of contact from the staff.
Clean pleasant decor and furnishings, with amble room between tables so you can enjoy your own private conversations.
Full length windows give pleasing views over the golf course and the downs. There are amble areas to just relax over a drink and chat with friends or use the games view. In summer there is a large outside area where one could enjoy drinks and snacks.
Todays visit was for lunch but we will be return to try out the evening menu.

Joined as a social member on a friends advice that we would not regret it. The only thing that we regret is that we live quite locally so we keep taking long lunches. The menu has a good varied choice whether eating a snack or main course, the venue is run well, clean and the staff are excellant. Visited today and the place was packed and on a Thursday lunchtime that says a lot and not just golfers but business people as well.

Local for us and absolutely love it. It's like being in a very stylish, friendly hotel. We pop in regularly for the snack menu. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The BLT had top quality bacon, cooked to perfection - a simple dish but so many places can't do a decent BLT and they can! The shepherd's pie we decided is the best we've ever tasted anywhere. The staff are friendly, genuine and look after you. I love the choice of places to sit, the restaurant is stylish and the tables are set out informally, with comfy sofas and easy chairs in amongst - all with an amazing view. You can dress up for a special lunch, or turn up in your casuals and sit and have a munch in a comfy armchair and read the generous supply of papers - a really nice touch. To be honest, it's always a struggle to get up and get back to the weekend chores!

We held a function at Farleigh in July. Highly Recomed it. Food was very good, price also very good. Bar area has to be the most attractive for miles around. More like a west end bar.

You'll find it hard to beat the overall experience of this venue. Modern decor, very friendly and attentive staff, great food & amazing views across the golf course. Superb!

I was visiting Farleigh today and have to say I was made to feel so welcome and looked after the moment I stepped through the door. Poor customer service is a real bug bear of mine - you wont find this at Farleigh...

Farleigh Golf Club is not easy to find due mainly to Croydon Council refusing to let them put up signs. Its a mile drive to the club house once you've found it, but its worth the trip as the little restaurant gives fantastic value for money, excellent friendly service and a delicious dinner menu. Afternoon tea is a treat in a smart new setting.

During the summer we kept on coming back to this place. It's a bit hidden but when you find it you realise how lucky we are to have this on our doorstep. The food is great value and the venue stunning, but better still is the warm welcome from the staff who really make you feel special. I really can't wait to go back. The bar menu is also highly recommended and we enjoyed chilling out in the lounge and hitting a few snooker balls.
Being a social member also enables us to enjoy a discount and that is just the icing on the cake!!

I popped in here today with my mum to look at the golf course for my husband and decided to stay for afternoon tea. The restaurant manager almost fell over himself looking after us and the chef made the most wonderful scones, cakes and sandwiches. There was even a lovely little milkshake on the cake stand. Overall we tried 6 different teas between us from the extensive tea menu at no extra cost.

Inside the decor is all very new and clean with lovely big windows overlooking the golf course.

I will definitely be going back to try some more of the yummy food!.
