FREE General Employment Law Seminar
15th June 2011, 14:00 to 17:00pm
William B. Rose & Associates of Nantwich will be holding a free employment law Seminar which will enable employers, HR Professionals, Directors and Senior Managers of local companies to get up-to-speed with Employment Law issues and will consider the difficult legal issues which can arise in this complex area and how best to manage them in your workplace.
Have you received a claim against you from a disgruntled employee?
Have you been sued by an employee in the past?
If the answer to either of these questions is ‘yes’, you will know how time consuming, costly and annoying these claims can be. You will also know that your right to run your business as you see fit, is not always the primary issue.
Did you know: You are required by law to provide your employees with a Statement of Main Terms and Conditions within 8 weeks of starting work with you? If you don’t, the penalty can be 2 – 4 weeks’ pay!
Do you have company policies in place that protect you? For example, against misuse of work communications systems?
Do you know the difference between Direct Discrimination & Indirect Discrimination?
Employment Law is complex and always seems to be changing, if you manage staff in any capacity you need to keep abreast of your legal requirements and the rights of your staff.
William B. Rose & Associates LLP of Nantwich are holding a free seminar on the 15th June 2010 at their offices on Welsh Row, Nantwich. If you would like to attend please call 0845 074 5970 or email here.
