LeeStock Music Festival, Sudbury

Think of music festivals. Weekend tickets that cost a stinking fortune. The cheapest burger that costs a Kings ransom. The beer that probably tastes ducking fisgusting and not to forget fighting your way through 80,000 people in a muddy cow field. If that isn't enough for you, there's also the BIG bloke in front of you. You know the one, 6 foot in height and 6 foot in width and with him standing in front of you, there's no chance of seeing your favourite band/artist on stage. Now think of a festival like this. A festival where a weekend ticket will only cost you the mere loose change price of £30 and NO that's not a typo. Wonderful food that doesn't cost a stinking fortune. The beer tastes like beer should do and you WILL get change from a fiver for a pint. Forget the 80,000 people and forget the Big bloke standing in your way. Now picture the scene. A festival in beautiful surroundings of Long Melford Hall, Suffolk. Never thought a festival could take place in a posh cow field? I jest ye not, it is a beautiful setting. Take your fold up chairs with you, sit back, relax and enjoy the fine music courtesy of local acts throughout the day. In the evening, rock out to the headline act. You think a little festival can't pull in the big names to play? I suggest you look at the history of LeeStock. Enjoy the food, enjoy the drink and the music. Saturday is in your face while Sunday is chill-out day. There is something for everyone here, even the kids. There are play areas for the kids and you can leave the kids too it knowing that they are safe and in the hands of supervisors. This is a festival that was born out of a tribute to the memory of a young man who so tragically passed away before his time. The organisation of LeeStock Festival truly is sublime. No sooner has the curtain come down on one years festival, the team start work on the next years festival and they always deliver the best entertainment you can have over two days in a cow field. You will meet new friends here and the organisers AND some of the bands come round to meet as many people as they can. They will shake your hand, they will thank you for coming to festival. and they will invite you come back next year and do it all over again. Please respect their time and efforts and put as much money as you can afford in to the fundraising buckets for the Willow Foundation. On your way leaving the field, try not to make too much noise because the LeeStock sheep will be trying to get some sleep. Oh, and did I mention FREE wi-fi in the posh cow field? They have that too. You want a friendly family and rocking good music to boot? Don't believe a word I've said? Then come and join me and a small couple of thousand other people for a weekend that you will never forget. Go to www.leestock.org buy yourself a ticket and let me prove to you that all I've said is true.
