Mystery Warrior: The North Bersted Man exhibition will be the first time that this extraordinary Iron Age Warrior and his burial possessions will be on public display. The exhibition will explore the life, health and death of this fascinating man. It will attempt to explain some of the questions that have been raised by the circumstances of his burial. Join us on Saturday 25 January for the first of our family days and try your hand at making your very own salt-baked jewellery!

Family days are the last Saturday of each month for the duration of the exhibition. Learn more about life in the Iron Age.Handle and hold replica weaponry and objects, learn more about what people wore and how they made their clothes, and have a go at weaving on our loom.

25 January, 25 April, 25 July, 26 September: Try your hand at making your very own salt-baked jewellery!

29 February, 30 May, 19 August: Become an archaeologist for the day and take part in our mini-digs!

28 March, 27 June, 29 August: Using natural paints, create your own 'Celtic art'!

The exhibition has been made possible due to Berkeley Homes generously donating the finds, a £50,000 grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and signature sponsorship from Irwin Mitchell.

Booking for lecture series and craft activities is essential.

Admission is free with donations gratefully accepted.
