I am ashamed to say that although I had visited many times, I had never previously been inside the house, always thought it was too expensive, how wrong I was! The enormity of the place and the absolute stunning grandeur actually deserves the price tag. It is a fantastic day out and you really could be entertained for the entire day! The gardens are absolutely enormous, and just magnificent, you could a full day just wandering outside.... The house is absolutely wonderful and packed with great and grand treasures. You are able to fully appreciate and wander at leisure, and there are no restrictions on photographs. Absolutely fantastic day out, with something for everyone to enjoy!
