Well it must be said, what an absolutely fabulous event the Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair 2011 was! If you don't already know this took place at Hardwick Hall and Thebestof Chesterfield had a stall there and were raising funds on behalf of Ashgate Hospice.
Fantastic news!! We raised £213.55 for Ashgate Hospice and I am very pleased to announce that Mrs G Mellor was the lucky winner and a Nikon Coolpix S3100 is winging its way to you!! Congratulations and many, many thanks to all the generous people who supported us and donated to this worthy cause.
Hardwick Hall was quite the setting for this huge event and compliments must be given to the event organisers.... I certainly couldn't find fault! I suppose the wind and rain could have been a little kinder on Sunday but oh well, we cannot have everything! Also compliments to alll of the wonderful Businesses and Exhibitors in attendance, the array of wonderful food, drink and craft wares available was nothing short of amazing.
We were in attendance with the aim of being able to share the love for some great local businesses and raise monies on behalf of Ashgate Hospice. The amount of love and appreciation shown for this amazing cause was wonderful and once again many, many thanks to all of the generous people who donated.
