The club offers a sound grounding for young players, through to seniors, with coaching offered for players of all abilities and ages.

North Derbyshire Chargers

The club provides rugby training for players of all ages:

• Under 9s
• Under 11s
• Under 13s
• Under 14s
• Under 15s
• Open Age

Training for all junior teams takes place at 6.00pm on Thursday evenings with the seniors training from 7.00pm. Times may vary depending upon weather conditions and daylight.

The Chargers are always looking to attract new players into the sport and the club. As a community based team they are very focussed upon the promotion and development of Rugby League within the North Derbyshire area.

New players are always welcome and need to just turn up and join in! No previous experience necessary.

Volunteering

Volunteers are vital to the ongoing success and development of the North Derbyshire Chargers.

Ways in which you can volunteer and support are:

• Information Point to answer queries from parents/players attending a match or festival
• Team Manager assisting the coach in setting out the playing area and managing kit
• Touchline Manager to ensure a safe and friendly playing environment for players and supporters
• First aid cover at matches
• Serving refreshments
• Fundraising for the club and much, much more.

North Derbyshire Chargers provide many sponsorship opportunities for local business to suit all small, medium and large business budgets ranging from company logos on playing shirts through to sponsored crowd control barriers and even playing balls and corner flag.
