The North Derbyshire Chargers RLFC have agreed a partnership with long time club sponsor, 2and7 Limited, to provide a number of opportunities for full and associate members of the Chargers to undertake a recognised qualification in Rugby League coaching.

Under the terms of the deal, the candidate will see the £140 cost of attending the training reduced to £40 in return for the candidate taking on an active role within the club and delivering 10 hours of training sessions as either Lead or Assistant Coach.

MD of 2and7 Limited, Ged Connolly-Thompson, said: "This is an excellent opprtunity for players of last year's Under 16s and Open Age squads to remain with the club in a coaching capacity.  The current financial climate often introduces barriers to participation in sport and gaining qualifications.  2and7 are happy to help out to bring more people into the sport and support a wonderful community club who has a history of developing talent for the professional game."

Level 1 training courses will be held in the East Midlands in March and April 2014.  Please get in touch via the club web site for more information, but spaces are limited to 6.
