The routes will be marked out in:

Pittville Park (a 1km, 2km and 3km route) which starts and ends at the same point and which will link both sides of the Evesham Road.

Honeybourne Line (a 2km route) starting and finishing at each end, where an information map will be stationed.

All the run routes are planned for individual runners with a range of abilities. They will also be suitable for running groups will as their main aim is to set out distances to encourage healthy walking and running for all.

Healthy Lifestyles Development Officer, Rowena Tassell, at Cheltenham Borough Council, says: “The new scheme is a great way of encouraging people to use the park and Honeybourne Line and get active outdoors. It compliments our existing initiatives - Run England running groups and parkrun - in a more informal and adhoc way.”

“We hope that this will appeal to lots of different people of different ages and abilities from keen runners to new runners, wheelchair users to mums’ and their buggies, to help motivate people to lead a more active and healthy lifestyle.”
