“The NHS are appealing for Cheltenham Town Football Club fans to give blood at our training ground on Tuesday 24 September” That’s the call from Cheltenham Town Football Club who are offering their great local venue for blood donors – those who are already registered as donors and anyone considering donating blood for the first time.

Anyone aged between 17 - 65, weighing more than 50 kg (7 stone 12lbs) and in general good health could potentially start saving lives by becoming a blood donor. Fans and people in the local area can give blood between the hours of 1.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday 24 September but please remember to book in advance using the Donor Line on 0300 123 23 23 or visit http://www.blood.co.uk/

People are often busy during the school holidays to make their regular blood donation appointment. The NHS Blood Service and Transport are keen for regular donors to make their next appointment and to encourage new donors to come along to Cheltenham Town Football Club and start a new routine that will help save lives.
