The ‘Meet Rex’ family-friendly exhibition will be a real adventure for families and children alike, giving them a practical, fun and interactive dinosaur experience. With its life-size replicas of dinosaurs such as the diplodocus, the exhibition will provide a real insight into the dinosaur world. Through a range of interactive technology and activities, visitors will get to discover something of the lives of these hugely fascinating creatures which roamed our planet millions of years ago, The exhibition will include information on where dinosaurs lived and their feeding habits. Families will be able to take part in puzzles and games, as well as playing interactive video games to test their knowledge of the world of dinosaurs..
During the time of the exhibition, both residents and visitors to Cheltenham will be encouraged to take part in related activities in the form of trails and craft sessions. These will take place in and around The Wilson including the Foyle Learning Centre.
Tickets to the exhibition are now on sale from www.cheltenhamtownhall.org.uk or the Tourist Information Centre sited in The Wilson. Tickets include a family app, which aims to enhance the fun and educational aspects of ‘Meet Rex’. The app will be available from 18th July.
