Visited on a Sunday afternoon. It is a good idea and definitely has potential but the equipment is not maintained and parts are really poor quality. For the price you're better off going to a pitch and putt or better sports bar.

Fantastic little place, right in the heart of Chelmsford located across from popworld, great to go there chill out with some friends, play a bit golf and have a few drinks before heading out on the town

Visited Bck Yrd Golf for a Monday evening date for a bit of fun after dinner.<br>The member of staff at the bar was a delight, offering to make a choice of non-alcholic cocktails (which were great!), and whom we really enjoyed chatting to before and after we did the two golf courses.<br>The courses themselves are rather restrictive space-wise, so definitely better being just two of us rather than a group. All the wholes are very compact, but made to be difficult so that you don't whizz through them quickly unlike other crazy golf places, and we could take our time on them.<br>All in all, it's definitely not a high-end venue (much of the courses are made from "junk"), but if you're looking for something entertaining to do in Chelmsford with a relaxed atmosphere and a good chat at the bar, I would recommend.
