Really good food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend to all, pasta was excellent and was jealous of the pizza when it arrived at next doors table! Really enjoyed the Federico II beer.

I booked a table for 24 people for lunch on Saturday 14 January. We were seated immediately and greeted in a very welcoming way. All the guests commented that the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Considering we were a large group, at no point did we feel we were left waiting.
I have visited a few times before and this just reinforced again what a great restaurant we are lucky enough to have in Chelmsford.

On Saturday 14 January we were invited to a meal at Il Palazzo. The food was delicious, the service was amazing. I would strongly recommend this restaurant. They know and remember their customers.

Impromptu lunch on a Saturday. Being Vegan, they had some bits for me to eat. The house coleslaw was delicious as was the sweet potato fries. Hubby had burger and chips. The only negative thing was that the music was quite loud and we found it a but difficult to hear and talk to each other.

Very almost got five stars.<br><br>Pros: Very friendly staff, great food apart from the hoisin wings (weird fishy taste).<br><br>Cons: Service was slow and milkshakes were a bit of a let down. Not thick enough and had too many “bits” in them.<br><br>I would definitely return as the wings are extremely tasty and fresh. Just hope the slow service was a one off.
