Can't believe we've not been here before!! Lived in Chelmsford for over 20 years and only just tried this place.
Very busy at 6.30 on a Friday night is a good sign.
Service, food, atmosphere and prices were fantastic.
Two starters, two mains, shared desert and two bottles of house red (so good we had to get a second) for around £85!! Cheaper than the chain restaurants in town and far better in every way.
Will definitely be back, and soon.

Jon was the DJ at our recent wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall and he was absolutely fantastic. Really took on board what we wanted and worked really well with some of our external entertainers and accommodated song requests from guests to put on a great evening for everyone. Devoted events had so many amazing reviews and rewards and you can see why.
We emailed and Jimmy replied within a couple of hours mentioning the date we wanted was available. We scheduled a meeting on teams to discuss plans etc. Jimmy assured us about how easy the process would be and it was. We really appreciate how you catered to our needs and made our day feel at ease.
Jimmy even performed an acapella as we awaited the brides dad to return to the table and it was truly amazing! Jimmy and his family really show their commitments to hosting the special day.
We had the ultimate package and it was worth every bit of the money! We hope to use Devoted Events in the future for other special events.
