Can't believe we've not been here before!! Lived in Chelmsford for over 20 years and only just tried this place.<br>Very busy at 6.30 on a Friday night is a good sign.<br>Service, food, atmosphere and prices were fantastic.<br>Two starters, two mains, shared desert and two bottles of house red (so good we had to get a second) for around £85!! Cheaper than the chain restaurants in town and far better in every way.<br>Will definitely be back, and soon.

Jon was the DJ at our recent wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall and he was absolutely fantastic. Really took on board what we wanted and worked really well with some of our external entertainers and accommodated song requests from guests to put on a great evening for everyone. He's overall just a really lovely guy too :) Thank you so much, Janine and Nick

I have to start off with WOW!<br><br>Devoted events had so many amazing reviews and rewards and you can see why.<br><br>We emailed and Jimmy replied within a couple of hours mentioning the date we wanted was available. We scheduled a meeting on teams to discuss plans etc. Jimmy assured us about how easy the process would be and it was. We really appreciate how you catered to our needs and made our day feel at ease.<br><br>Jimmy even performed an acapella as we awaited the brides dad to return to the table and it was truly amazing! Jimmy and his family really show their commitments to hosting the special day.<br><br>We had the ultimate package and it was worth every bit of the money! Thank you - so enjoyed our meals RISOTTO PESCATORE and my friend had monk fish - we love our fish dishes and I’m definitively having that risotto again, wow! I normally go for the juicy tender steak and so it was a hard choice tonight but I’m glad I tried something different tonight, If you’re a seafood food lover, this was awesome.
Staff are real friendly and jovial what a lovely atmosphere busy and buzzing. Love this Italian and so conveniently placed in Chelmsford too. Will be back real soon guys!!

Jodie and the team were brilliant throughout the process - from meeting our requests following the food trial, to the many last minute changes in the lead up to the wedding. I’ve been to many weddings where the food is delayed and cold by the time it gets to you but the food was warm, delicious and prompt. Thank you again! Great value!

Dave, Nadia, Jodie and the wider Plenty of Thyme team did an amazing job catering at our wedding on Saturday. Honestly, I haven't yet been able to put into words how incredible everything was, but what I can say with absolute certainty is that it was so fantastic because of the hard work and preparation they put into the planning and delivery from the very moment we first reached out to Plenty of Thyme over 18 months ago.<br>The food is exceptional, the service was second to none, and their attention to detail is unrivalled. We have had so many people came up to us - and have messaged us since Saturday - to say how incredible the food was. It blew us away, from the first canapes during the drinks reception to the final slice of pizza at the end of the night, everything was delicious. The team have an enthusiasm and passion for what they are doing which is infectious, and I will be forever grateful that we chose Plenty of Thyme as our wedding caterer.<br>Thank you, Plenty of Thyme, so much for everything - I'm trying to come up with reasons to have another party so we can eat your food all over again!!

Earlier this month, we had our post-wedding celebration here, and the front of house, Constantine and his colleague, were attentive and made sure all of us were looked after. Shoutout to Constantine for going the extra mile offering assistance with our table plan/decoration and party favours. To top it off, the food was great.

Lovely Restaurant with plenty dishes on the menu. We really enjoy our evening with friendly staff and tasty food.
Altogether we have fantastic experience.
Definitely recommend who like traditional Italian food.
