pub/hotel was brilliant.Bang smack in centre of town,good bar facilities with great friendly staff .Would stay there again and will especially as the price is very good.Stayed at Saracens pub again for party up the road.Staff are all friendly and really nice people,have booked again for New Years Eve.

Me and my partner went to see the venue to book it for our wedding, we were really excited. The ball room was perfect for our little(ish) wedding that we wanted, we were lucky enough to have the option to book the room a few days after we had seen it. When it came to booking the Venue both me and my partner tried to call them numerous times, when we finally got through it was a different person every time who didnt know what they were doing. They said that we needed to talk to the manager. But she had left for home. We werent the least bit happy. When we finally got in touch with someone who knew what they were doing. There was an error due to a wrong digit being taken on the card we explained that we would call the bank to sort it and call her back within 5 minutes and when we did call her back she was no where to be found

it's actually a nice hotel, located in Chelmsford high street with rear parking , normally a nightmare in Chelmsford, Hotel was clean and staff very friendly.
