Because of its fantastic reputation, welcoming environment, committed staff, and excellent location, The Ship Pub has been one of the most popular pubs in Chelmsford for many years. The decor inside the ship is strongly nautical, with dark brown paneling, portholes, masts, rope & rigging, and plenty of ocean-going items on exhibit. During the summer, the seating in front of the bar is a terrific spot to eat al fresco, while during the winter, fires make the venue warm and cozy. We're dedicated to providing the best pub service in town. Our menu has something for everyone: from burgers and steaks to fish and chips, we have something for everyone's palette.
