Essex Spirits Company is Chelmsford's first operating distillery. Founded in 2020, our mission is to create the finest in distilled spirits for the local Essex communities, from bars and restaurants to populations in Essex.
We strive to support our customers by providing a hospitality experience that is as unique and memorable as the drink itself. Our ethos is not only sustainable but also one of zero waste. We use cutting edge modern distillation methods to get the most out of our ingredients, which allows us to create complex blends that are perfectly balanced and crafted with care.
By supporting, championing and suppling the finest of the county's bars & restaurants as well as its population, we aim to bridge the gap between artisanal producers and consumers by providing an accessible distillery product that is both delicious and socially responsible.
We now run our business out of what we lovingly refer to as "The Essex Distillery," which is located in the heart of Chelmsford. We would love to meet you in person because the distillery also houses a shop, tasting room, and we often offer public tours!
