We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ experience for our wedding evening reception than Jimmy from Devoted Events. From start to finish, everything was handled so professionally, and it truly helped make our night unforgettable.
The light-up dance floor looked absolutely incredible and really transformed the room — it became the focal point of the evening and kept everyone on their feet all night. The dry ice machine added such a magical touch, especially for our first dance, creating a beautiful atmosphere that we’ll always remember.
Jimmy’s DJing was spot on. He read the room perfectly, kept the energy high, and played a great mix of music that appealed to all our guests. The dance floor was never empty, which says it all!

Always an amazing service as a supplier and one we love working with and thoroughly recommend. I particularly remember one incident with a booking made by one of our couples and we here was an issue with that supplier, Devoted Events came out at the last minute, late at night and helped out on of our couples who were incredibly grateful, as are we. That is true service and professionalism if ever there was!

Ian was the DJ for my birthday party! Great feedback from my guests, in which they noticed the Bridgerton music in the background whilst eating and thought that was a great touch! A link was sent in order to choose the songs for the evening and guests were also able to request songs therefore every one was happy, and loved the banter with Ian! Thank you Ian for all your help and guidance prior and during the event...will definitely recommend you and Devoted Events to friends and family!

The DJ we had was okay. Listened to our genre requests people were mostly dancing most of the night. Though we did send a list of songs we definitely wanted played and this wasn't used. So that was disappointing. Dj did take requests as well which was good

Jimmy isn’t a man with a laptop who presses play He’s an actual DJ, he’s a whole moment, he’s a whole EXPERIENCE.
He MC’d, he hosted, he hyped the crowd, he read the room like he had the script before we even walked in. Every transition was crazy. Every drop went OFF.
Our guests are still saying how amazing the DJ was.
Honestly… if you’re even thinking about booking someone else, don’t.

We added all the songs we wanted to their portal and Jimmy caught into the vibe that I love musicals and songs that you could do choreographed dance routines too. He played all the song we wanted and more. Highly recommend!

We hired the oval photo booth for our wedding in September. The team have been great from booking to on the night. The service has been fantastic. And we got to take away the photos on the night in a guest book with a USB stick with them all on so no waiting. Our guests had great fun! Thank you x

DJ was great, he came and chatted to us beforehand and made sure he had a good idea of what we wanted! Throughout the night he checked in and made sure we were happy and nearer the end of the night asked what we’d like to end on which I thought was a lovely touch! He even made sure to ask us for an okay when a guest requested a song! Overall was a great night and everyone was up dancing which is exactly the end goal you want! Thank you!

Devoted Events were absolutely fantastic! Our DJ Ian was incredible and we had a quick meeting with him first to discuss how the evening reception events were going to go. He was excellent with introducing us as a newly married couple and went above and beyond to help the day go smoothly from speeches in between courses to our first dance and then to a lovely evening dancing the night away! Ian had our requests on hand but also added some absolute bangers! It was perfect! Highly recommend!! Thank you for making it all seamless and stress free!

We hired an oval Photo Booth from Devoted Events for our wedding on 3rd September and couldn't have had a better experience. Jimmy greeted my husband and I upon arrival and was lovely, and the two team members on site who managed the Photo Booth on the night were outstanding. They were warm and welcoming, encouraged our guests to use the Photo Booth and then sign our photo book (a lovely touch by the company where one copy of the photos taken by each group is given to the guests and another is put in a photo book for the Bride and Groom with a personal message). They arrived on time and stayed until the end of the night, set up and pack down was seamless. The oval Photo Booth was easy to use, had lots of fun props, and all of our guests used it and loved it. After our wedding it's been so lovely to go through our photo book reading all of our guests' messages and photos, and it's been great to also have a USB with the digital copies of all the photos too.

Couldn't have wished for a better DJ - Ian was amazing. We had a call a few days before the wedding to meet him and talk through our requests and he met every single one & went above and beyond!! The dance floor was filled the entire night and everyone had the best time. The room was filled with banger after banger for all ages and we just didn't want the night to end!! Thank you so so much for making our wedding so enjoyable for us and our guests. Highly recommend these guys as Wedding (or any event) DJs - especially Ian.

Jimmy was all day hosting, helping out behind the scenes, kept the spirits high through the whole day, keeping everyone entertained! He is an absolute gent and an even better Dj! Jimmy Dj’d at my wedding in September 2024, the service i got from day one was none other than outstanding, communication back and fourth through Instagram while Jimmy was even Dj’n at event was something i would never forget as not many places would do that. Everything ran smoothly with Devoted Events on the day of our wedding, the music was spot on, even my own music video was played on the night twice i might add. Jimmy & the team deserve the applauds & can see why they have so many awards throughout the years, i highly recommend Devoted Events at any Event you need.
I would like to say sorry for the late review as my wife had a baby soon after so it has been crazy busy.
