This concert is an intimate musical conversation between piano and five wind instruments – flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and French horn.
At the heart of the programme is the first movement of Mozart’s magnificent Quintet for Piano and Winds – a work the composer himself regarded as one of his greatest achievements.
