John Metcalf, President of Lampeter Music Club, and a distinguished international composer, is 80 this year.
To mark the millennium, Lampeter Music Club commissioned from him ‘Mapping Wales’ for String Quartet and Harp, and to mark the bicentenary of St Davids College Lampeter ‘Metaphysical Studies’ for piano .
