This tourist attraction in Rhydlewis near Llandysul includes sculpture gardens, galleries, a workshop and a tearoom. There is something there suitable for everyone.

Terry and Rose Barter, the owners of Sculpture Heaven, moved to West Wales in 1995 and set up a small sculpture workshop and began turning our 2 acre field into a productive garden.

In 2008 they opened their gardens and workshop to the public for the first time as part of the 'Open Studio' initiative and were shocked by the amount of people that ventured to the middle of nowhere, 'where the streets have no name', to come and visit.

The Gardens

Two and a half acres of themed gardens, sculpture gardens and a vegetable garden.

You can read and see all about the amazing features included in the gardens by watching a virtual tour on Sculpture Heaven's website.

Gallery

The Sculpture Gallery: Featuring Terry Barter's wood and stone sculptures and wall plaques as well the work of a selection of contemporary British sculptors.

The Apothecary: A treasure trove of gifts inspired by fantastical and ancient wonders.

Workshop

Aims to show people how the sculptures are made.

Tea Room

Homemade 'yummy' cakes, cordials and fairtrade tea and coffee are being served in the tea room. All of the profits made here is donated to the Halo Trust, a UK Charity which clears landmines in war torn countries so that rural people can return to their fields and villages safely.
