Cae Hir - A Welsh garden with a Dutch history which is by now, one of the best loved gardens in Wales. Cae Hir is an RHS Partner Garden and one of the 'Great Gardens of West Wales'. The garden has become synonymous with blending the wild with the cultivated, of using ordinary materials in extraordinary ways and of thinking 'outside the box' in its approach to garden design.

History

First opened to the public in 1989, Cae Hir has become one of Wales' best loved gardens.

Still owned, managed and maintained by the Akkermans family who first moved over from Holland in 1983, the garden continues to be a love affair between nature and nurture.

Tea Room

The modern tea room at Cae Hir Gardens allows visitors to savour their surroundings while indulging in the home baking for which it has become renowned.

Enjoy your refreshments from the sanctuary of the tea room should it be drizzling, or soak up the sun on our outdoor terrace.
