What's On in Cardiff this November?

October is nearly over, which means that November is just around the corner. Make sure you keep updated with all that's going on across Cardiff.

Of course, who can forget that 5th November is Bonfire Night. We've got some fireworks events on thebestof Cardiff website so keep an eye out for all that's going on.

November is also a big month for sport in Cardiff. Wales play their four rugby union Autumn Internationals at the Millennium Stadium. These are big fixtures for the Wales team, and Cardiff on match day is a special place so why not try and see a match, or just be around Cardiff City Centre for the great atmosphere. As well as these matches, Cardiff's teams for both rugby and football will be playing matches at home, and the Yonex Welsh International Badminton Championships are being held at Sophia Gardens, so there is plenty of sport on offer throughout November.

Once we've managed to get past Halloween and Bonfire Night, inevitably everything starts to be geared towards Christmas. Whether you like it or not, you can't really avoid all that's happening as Cardiff gets ready for Christmas. 14th November is when Cardiff City Centre and the surrounding area will start to get really festive. Winter Wonderland officially opens and the Christmas lights will be switched on. That day also marks the start of this year's Christmas Market which will be situated in the City Centre all throughout the festive period.

Other highlights for this November would be the 50 Years of Doctor Who celebration at Mermaid Quay, Children in Need, and Beaujolais Day.

There is so much going on, so be sure to keep an eye on thebestof Cardiff events page.
