It was the 50th Anniversary Cancer Research Wales masquerade ball on Friday 2nd December and Challenge Wales kindly donated a auction prize to the charity for a day trip on their round the world yacht
This fantastic prize raised an amazing £400 at the event, which will help the Welsh charity fund better treatments for Cancer.
It’s great to hear that a charity has helped another when it’s so competitive out there for charities at the moment.
Challenge Wales provides sail training and life skills aboard the 72ft round the world yacht, the charity is dedicated to providing young people with a chance to develop their self-esteem and the life-skills of team working, responsibility, planning and communication through the experience of offshore sailing.Placing them in a challenging yet positive can-do environment.
