An update on my cashpoint saga - the good news is that the £200 that failed to materialise on Saturday yet was taken from my account has been credited by the bank (I know this from checking a mini statement from the ....cashpoint) - the bad news is that the bank have failed to contact me to tell me this. So despite assurances to the contray that they would ring and let me know - nothing. That has been disappointing - shame on you LLoyds TSB. Enough now.

So to more positive thoughts. I was pleased that the Council picked up my first bag of compostable leftovers...recycling is laudable but the systems have to be easy. I think they have gone it right with the little green kitchen bin...but the jury is still out on the whole issue. I will quickly change my mind if our streets becomes littered with food waste everywhere...what is it they say you are always within 6ft of a rat (let's not encourage them closer).

More on recycling to follow I suspect. O course the big question is will recycling really make a difference at this stage or is it already too late. I wonder what you think?
