What a busy week - it has flown by. Lots of meetings and two launches plus I have attended two meetings of BNI including an excellent visitors day on Wednesday an the Enterprise Chapter.
We have welcomed new clients and it was great to meet Miriam Rees on Wednesday who has joined us to promote the secretarial services of her company Office24/7 .
On Wednesday I was invited to the Millennium Stadium - another recent addition to the Best of Cardiff, who were launching their Conference and Banqueting brochure. The food from Stadium caterers Letheby and Christopher was top class! I also enjoyed the tour and the closing speech from Scott Quinnell who had a fund of anecdotes about the stadium.
On Thursady I popped in to join Weather Girl and Jungle survivor Sian Lloyd at the launch in the Bear Hotel in Cowbridge of Bizcard which is an innovative video business card. Now here's a thing, there was a raffle for Ty Hafan and I won the first prize ... a free Bizcard for myself. That's great as I was going to purchase one anyway so I have saved myself £99! Every little helps....
This weekend is a great one for Cardiff and leaving aside Halloween the two highlights for me are the sensational Charity fireworks display in Bute Park - Sparks in the Park and slightly earlier in a late kick off at 5.20pm the Cardiff City V Wolves match at Ninian Park. A real top of the table clash in the Championship. Go Bluebiirds....
One final thing - on Monday at 9am the public tickets go on sale for the 1st Ashes Test at the Swalec Stadium in July - ring 0844 96 70 701 and good luck!!!
