Another interesting day - the main feature of which was having a first look at the new Best of website on a separate host server with some data having been transferred.
First impressions are that some of it is terrrific - some I'm not sure. The difficulty is that like everyone I am resistant to change and seeing the site in an incomplete form is a scary stage.
As a project it is exciting and huge with over 565,000 data pages being transferred into an entirely different layout. I am confident the final new site will be more effective organically and easier for our Business Members and Members to get more interactivity from the site and make it even more effective as a benefit for both our business clients and site visitors.
I am also looking forward to our networking event on Monday at which we should have fun and serious opportunites for the 50+people attending.
